Colin Shaddick

I am a mixed-media artist, photographer, poet and songwriter based in Barnstaple, North Devon. My work is driven by curiosity, humour and a lifelong fascination with the overlooked wonders of everyday life. Whether creating layered digital artwork, writing poetry, or developing my whimsical character Sid, I enjoy exploring the space where imagination and reality quietly meet. When I’m not making art, I can usually be found walking with my dog, camera in hand, looking for the next small moment that might become a story, a picture or a poem. I believe that creativity begins with paying attention.
